Can anyone tell me if the Annual Greater Cincinnati Numismatic Expo is worth a 2 hour drive?

I've never been to this show but would certainly consider the drive from Columbus if I get a few good recommendations.

The Fall show that used to be in Covington next to the Oldenburg Brewery used to be excellent - but I'm dating myself
Actually I also attended the show after they moved it up to Sharonville, and it was a good show then also. But that has still been a number of years ago, so consider my input just a bump for your thread.

Well, I've never been, either, but. . .

Their listing in Coin World says they have 150 dealers, so it sounds like a decent show.

They don't seem to have a website, but perhaps you might want to contact the promoter and ask for a list of dealers; or, if you have some established dealer contacts, you could ask them if they're going.

Or, you could describe the sort of things you're looking for (remember the more specific you are, the better responses you'll get!) and perhaps someone who has been to the show recently could offer some tips.

I can't imagine passing up a chance to see 150 bourse tables with only a 2 hour drive. I have driven much farther for less. Not always ending up with a great purchase but I always enjoy attending the show. You just never know what might be there.

Will do! Our exams are the week before the exam so if I have one Friday I may stay down here an extra day to go (or could always drive back down...). We'll see, still got some time.

BUTTTTTTTTTTT.... you better have your calendar marked for the Ohio State Show in Dublin in the fall, it'll be worth the trip, I promise!
Rumor has it one of the board of directors may have their collection on display for some of the show...

You know I'll be there without a doubt. That one's a "must" every year... let me know about Cincy and I'll be able to make it to the Hilliard show for the next several months as well...

This will be my first one but I'm pretty excited as its only about 15 min north on the highway from me.

Unfortunately I will not be making it My dad's out of town on vacation that week and I have to help take care of my sister after her surgery thursday. I will be able to make it to the Hilliard shows throughout the summer though
