First post
Hello everyone.
I have frequented the U.S. coin forum for several years. I know there are many members here that never venture over there.
Since my interests lie more in the world medals realm, I thought I would stop in to say hello.
And since I'm here I'll post a new purchase. Just arrived today. Not the nicest around but I like her, rim ding and all.
The price was more than reasonable as well.
That doesn't happen with the Wiener medals much any more.

Is that a pattern Weiner medal? It seems to be missing legends on the sides of the reverse.
I have seen another similar one without legends and always wondered about it.
Edited to add: Here is the one I have seen that I thought was a pattern. These normally have an inscription at the bottom reverse. I have seen only one other like this besides this one (total of 2). All others have the inscription.
(I've been dying to say that
Seriously, though, very nice--the cathedral/architecturals can be truly awesome. Pictures are always appreciated, so says the hypocrite that rarely posts any.

An interesting observation. One I never really thought much about.
Many of the medals in this series have an inscription on the reverse but many do not.
You can see most of them here. Wiener medals
Thanks for the welcome everyone. Please don't show too many of your world medals. I have enough to keep me busy (and broke) without adding any more series.
