I didn't get to see any of the game. Work nights and had to come to work just as the game was starting.

fantastic game. I didn't much care who won, although deep down I was pleased that Duke pulled out the win. One of the best championship games I've seen. Gordon Hayward is a player - I'll take that dude on my team any day. Kyle Singler, too.

One of the best title games I can remember watching. Butler had all the chances to win the game....they missed at least 10 easy buckets in the paint. I think it was nerves and Duke's height and size down low. Not sure why they weren't shooting the perimeter shots.

I loved the way the refs called the game. They let them play and didn't really call the ticky tack fouls. With that being said, the no call at the end of the game was a mystery to me. Zobrick basically "side walk slammed" Howard in the paint. Not sure what the refs were looking at.

Either way, great game and would have loved to seen Hayward hit the three at the end.

    DUCK FOOK.
The best pitch to start a hitter off with is always strike one.

Hayward was a great FT shooter. He did not shoot the ball well from the field.
Honestly, I didn't think there were many great athletes on the court last night. When it really came down to it- Butler could not get to the rim and score. Duke was bigger and was altering many shots in the paint. Butler had to shoot more from the outside. 2 of the weaker teams playing for a title that I can remember.
  • the kansas/memphis game was better, imo. but, this was very close. butler lost because they got pounded on the boards in the second half and could not make a shot in the last 7-8 minutes of the game. im not sure if they were clearly the better team, but i think they let that one slip away.
