Why Does Heritage Send Ten Copies of the Auction Invoice?

Wouldn't one be enough? Or do they think if they send multiple copies you will be more likely to pay?

    Even if you pay right away they still send them. I think they just want to make sure you have a record.

    I keep one copy, then trash the rest.
    I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

    I pay for my lots at the show and still get 5 or more the next few weeks....never made any sense to me.

    do they send 1 for every lot? or every session?

    all in 1 envelope? each in a separate envelope?

    How many copies do you get? I often receive 2, but asking why they send 10, sounds like far worse overkill than they are guilty of.

    I get one via email and another in the shipping box.

    sounds like my insurance company at renewal time. they gotta send 10 copies or 15 just to make sure i get a copy. i called em on that a while back and was told just that ( hope they never ask for a bail out like the rest of the idiots )

    Because your heirs won't know they can negotiate to get 100% or more of hammer.

    I mean really - it's directed to me - and there is no consignement fee. I feel Stacked (RYK-TM) every time I get one.

    I have got one via email, one via regular mail and another with the item. Of course, all of these are after I paid for the item.

    Never recall getting more than 3 copies.
