Only one. A dime roll a member on here gave me. Made the TOP POP 2009-P from it.

    Lindedad,

Was that roll satin finish from mint sets or was it business strike?

Business stike the coin now resides in the number two all time variety set. That was a better home for it than my mint set.

Thank you. I wasn't aware that any business strike rolls of dimes were issued. Congrats on your coin.

Rolls were issued to banks in Puerto Rico, I think. Bringing a pretty penny on ebay.

Got mine from a dealer in new York already slabbed ATS

    Lindedad and Res,

Thank you. It is the Denver business strike I was thinking of. I have two rolls of Phila mint dimes, and one roll of the Philly nickel. I have no Denver mint business strikes. Were they released in Puerto Rico, too?

I don't think any of the D coins were released. At least none last year in the Sea/Tac area I was looking for them. Have since moved out to the boonies and quit the persuit.

    Don't worry...you didn't miss them by moving....I still haven't found any image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  • I got a couple of nickels when I was in Florida in March.

Probably because of the proximity to Puerto Rico. The dime rolls have been selling for over a year. High of $360. Now $25. No business strike D's have been released. Some mint set dimes resemble business strikes, and slip by the graders. See earlier thread by one member here who started to sell either a nickel or dime, thinking it was a business strike. I believe he pulled the auction.

Guess my roll of P mint Jeffs should go to the 'bay!
    I'll come up with something.

Haven't seen any rolls, but I just pulled a 2009-P dime from change the other day.

P mint Jeffs are selling on the bay for the ballpark of $25 a roll. Quite a few MS65FS's have been selling.

D mint coins have not been released, and some of the SF coins have ended up ATS in wrong holders... no D coins have been graded by PCGS yet.

Figure on sometime within the next two years seeing the D mint coins trickling out of the FED. When the finally show up, get ready for your checkbook to scream. If history repeats itself, eventually, there will be a lot graded.

It's just a matter of time.

I just had a gorgeous 2009-P arrive in today's mail. It was the free dime enclosed in a small packet of address labels as part of a solicitation for a donation to a major national non-profit.

Tremendous reverse strike and the epitome of an FB coin.

My March of Dimes letter had one too - I wonder if they would have raised more money auctioning off the rolls as a fundraiser?

looks like the price of 2009 dime rolls have dropped to almost nothing.

I guess the nickels are next.
