After '79, he is nothing to me. Until then he was the guy I wanted in a pack.

Viewing your collection never, ever gets old! Thanks for always being willing to share it with us.
I have always thought that Carew has some of the best cards of the 70's. The 76, 77 and 79 are 3 of my favorite cards of all time.

This is actually my favorite card of Rod Carew as I love that trophy. I lost out on this one a couple weeks back because I resolved to not bid as aggressively as I had been doing, even for cards that I really, really wanted. Needless to say, this experiment lasted all of one night.

Love the centering of that '68T! My two raw examples can't match up to that.
Here's one of my favorite Sir Rodney cards -- even if he isn't in a Twins uni!
Loves me some shiny!

I'm still totally Venezuelanless (I think that's a word).

thing rolling, and once again 1977 Topps nails it with the cool side angle,
out-stretched glove, and flip-up shades.
Keep 'em comin'!

Great pic of Carew! It looks like the same one used by Time Magazine when they featured him on the cover during the 1977 season.
Here's one of my favorite Rod Carew cards. Too bad it's not a ballpoint sig...
