    If you're looking for quotes, thebulliondesk.com is one source. No big changes since it went down; it looks like it wasn't an intentional hack to cause a major price move while people couldn't get quotes! image

    www.thebulliondesk.com always seems to be ahead of the others, in my opinion. Sometimes by a few minutes.

    Maybe this is a dumb question, but, why does platinum and palladium only trade in whole dollars?

    Kitco is not fully back up. Their mining stock page is still reflecting prices from yesterday. I was flipping through it after a couple hours away from a computer and was dejected that most of the "gains" from this morning's run up were lost. It didn't occur to me that the page was a day old until I hit stockcharts.com and saw that if anything, prices had moved up further since this morning.

    Kitco seems to have a habit of computer problems during gold run ups. I don't know if it's on purpose but I don't ever recall them crashing when the price is crashing....only the reverse.

    www.goldseek.com is a good place to go also for metal and currency prices. They don't use Kitco. Their charts are a little more flexible plus I like to see the charts of the dollar, GSR, plat, pall, all on the same page.
