Aww shoot! Maybe I should just say "%#@& IT" and "Secure Plus" all my coins!

I mean, I'd like to say "originality at all costs!" and it looks like nothing can stop the power of the laser!

I decided $700 minimum for myself.

I had a higher number in mind. However, with the half-step upgrade potential, it might be worthwhile at your number.
If all the people with high priced rare stuff send it in right away, they should be mostly done within a year.
Then the rest of us could try it out at a more reasonable price for our coins.

After thinking it over it would seem the price jump to the next grade might be more important than the base value of the coin.
A $700 coin with the next grade up showing $800 wouldnt be worth it to me.
A $700 coin with the next grade up showing $2,000+ would be to me.
So after going thru my inventory I only have 4 coins that match that criteria.
I have no plans to sell anything for 10+ years so I should probably wait because there might be a bigger thing by then that would make me want to send coins in for that

Eric

Shhhhh. You're not supposed to notice.
"Yes, thats an interesting point. If few resubmit, the only database that would be created would be from new submissions.

If no one resubmits what happens to the new product, and will the first coins submitted now at the start be matched up or compared or whatever with as many coins as in 4 years? If very little has been scanned yet on the whole, what is the value of the service regarding recognition of altered coins right now? Would not PCGS have to see a coin at least once before to have the new system kick in? Yet most coins are unscanned? I was also thinking, as they are gathering images and scanning coins for the database, and these images come from coins in paid submissions, could there not be some "introductory offer" for the time being until the database has grown to actually function and be as effective as designed? After all, the submitters are providing the coins database and paying to do so. If I misuderstand any part of this my apologies.
Best,
Eric
