NewP: Capped Bust Half-Dime Cud joins my Crew

I've always adored this tiny cud which can be found on this die marriage, and I was equally pleased to see it show up.
I made a strong bid, and won it for much less than my max.
So, another Capped Bust Half-Dime cud joins the Crew - which is now up to 5-6 different examples, many of which are the easier to locate type!

1831 LM-2 - LDS (I believe this is the full Cud, and not the slightly more available retained cud, but this is tough to discern because the coin is slightly lower grade - F/VF)

P.S. I have more additions to show later this week image

P.S.S. Where's MrHalfDime been lately?

Please return it to me and I'll replace it with one the doesn't have that unsightly flaw.....image
I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.
  • Do you collect modern Cuds?

    I have a 1983 Jefferson with a retained CUD

Not really. I bought a few for a type set, but I got bored with them real quick.

Nice example Barndog, I knew you had at least one lying around image

Utah - The "unsightly flaw" is so small you would hardly notice it image
