Question about your process for checking coins..

For the more advanced collectors out there, what process do you follow when checking over coins? The reason I ask is in my short time on this board I've learned about double dies, machine double dies, type a/b/c, accented hair, FEV's, d/d, s/d, 2/1, 9/8 (or any number mint combo possible), flaming lips, speared buffalos, superman eagles and 1923 peace dollar vam-3s (these are just the ones off the top of my head). With all this going on in addition to grading based on luster, dings, weak strikes and wear a solid process on what you look for and in what order would seem to make sense.
Plus I'm getting tired of checking the same 6 quarters I have from the 60's over and over as I learn about new varieties (and will continue to check as I learn more).
Thanks,
Nick
