Tampered Holder Question

Just looking for some opinions on tampered SGC holders. I'm looking at this 1977 Topps Staubach and the holder looks questionable. Could it because the card was not scanned and a photo was used.

    I'm not familiar with SGC holders, but I bought a PSA 10 OPC Patrick Roy RC with HEAVY frosting around the edges from a low feedback seller in 2004 for just under $300. Had it reholdered and sold for $1000 when I liquidated most of my high dollar graded cards in 2005.

    With that link maybe it's the way the light is hitting it? I don't know...never owned a SGC card.

    It does look a little funky, but not sure why anyone would tamper with it....what is that, a $20 card tops?

    The staubach card looks fine. I have lots of SGC graded cards and they all look like this one.
