Received a call today from the police regarding possible stolen coins

I received a call today at my store from the Duluth Police department asking me if I was broken into or robbed over the weekend. I wasn't, and all is well with the store. However, they pulled over a person and in the back seat of the car were a bunch of coins in cardboard 2x2's. The driver/owner of the car said they weren't his coins. So the police think they may have been stolen. I haven't seen them yet, but they were in older, slightly yellow (faded) cardboard 2x2s and the top coin was a 1921-D Walker with a price listed at $210. I called a few closer dealers but no one had anything taken from them. The coins could be from a house and not a dealer, so I want to spread the word. If anyone hears anything about someone being robbed, etc., please have them contact me. BTW - this was in Duluth, MN.

seems odd, umless the guy has history with them.
We found out a antique mall over in Superior, WI was broken into last night and the coins stolen. The guy had the coins on his backseat still in the cardboard 2x2's. Owner identified them, and they caught the guy how broke in so it was a quick catch.

and that's why the guy said the coins weren't his. Such an honest guy.
