Help me decide between these Morgan Toners...

Found these two toners on ebay. One is an NGC MS62* (the first picture) and the second and third pictures are GSA. Which one would you choose for the same price and what's the grade on the second.

GSa grade tough from picture, but maybe a 64 or 65

Edited to add more up side with the GSA

Well its obviously better than a 62. I think the decision for me is either an MS62 with great toning or a 64/65 with alright toning.

I like the way the one in the gsa holder looks better.

I've never ended up totally happy with any toned Morgan, no matter how wild, in an MS62 holder.
The scuffs and sometimes (most of the time) lack of luster kills it for me.

I'd humbly suggest holding out for more eye appealing examples.

I'm not a huge fan of either, and I'd keep the money and wait for something I liked more.

I like the way Braddick put it. Take heed.
  • how much do you think their worth in your opinion? If their on Dicks ebay page their probably going to go way over what your willing to pay.

I probably pay $200 for the ms62, $250 for the GSA, if I was lucky. That doesn't take the toning into account. I wouldn't be surprised if they each hit $400. I might go for some of his cheaper stuff. Thanks

    I agree with airplanenut/Jeremy...
Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!
