I think the folks at PCGS are a clever bunch. I understand that they holdered around 2,000 coins in the new PCGS Secure Plus holder in advance of The Big One announcement, and those coins were leaked onto the bourse seconds before the world knew about these new holders and concept.
Does anyone have a listing (or can we extrapolate a listing based on what has been seen) of the coins that were selected for Secure Plussing in the initial batch? I cannot believe that PCGS just took a random sample of coins from various dealers. There had to have been some sort of plan or approach in picking which coins were selected as the initiall representatives of Secure Plussing.
Does anyone know? Did the section of coins do anything to help establish a market for this new concept or prices? Or was it truly a random sample from any old dealer?

I'm sure selected dealers were brought into the fold and given the opportunity to have their best choices reslabbed. Non-disclosures were signed. Promises kept. It's really remarkable the secret was so well kept.
