Most of those should not be hard to attribute. Click on the CoinZip under this remark. You won't even need your Overton book to attribute, if you go to CoinZip.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

The reverse I (in PLURIBUS) to T (in UNITED) alignment is usually regarded as the first attribute that will eliminate over half the candidates. The I may be left, center, or right of T. The obverse is a bit more difficult for me as date alignment can be very similar. It just takes practice, with time you can attribute by memory for the dates you specialize in.

Oh, good. So I ain't the only one.

Therein lies the reason behind my selling off my Overton book and shrugging my shoulders. I just find myself not caring a whole lot about the minutiae of die varieties. Which is not to say I don't love Busties- I am very, very fond of those.

    much appreciated guys, thank you
  • No problem Gription...

    Nysoto gives good advise...

Take the 1810, there are 10 Die Marriages for this date...

The alignment of the "I" & "T" eliminate 7 of those Die Marriages...

Now the 1827 is a different story, there are 49 Die Marriages and it's a little harder...

I never seen a Bust I did not like..."-)
