1898 Portugal 1000 Reis opinions

There's a lot of detail on this coin. I don't have a 1800's world coin book yet. Is this piece easy to come by for $35?

It might have had a light cleaning in the past, but I would still buy it at $35 and not think twice about it, I don't have Krause on the desk at the moment but $35 is a good deal on that.

    Portugal, 1,000 reis, 1898, KM#539.

A one-year type commemorating the 400th Anniversary of the Discovery of India.

    .917 silver/.7368 oz. Mintage: 300,000.

4th Edition (2004) Krause prices as follows:

    $10.00 VG, 17.50 F, 27.50 VF, 40.00 XF, unlisted in UNC.

That piece looks at least AU50 to me (XF45 if you wish to be brutally strict). Sure, it's got some minor scuffiness and might have had a past light cleaning in the past, as previously mentioned, but 35 bucks sounds like good deal on it. I would buy it for that.
