What is Best RC for Albert Pujols?

Which is the best RC for Albert? Is it the 2001 SPX Auto card? I had thought I heard on here that there were problems with that card. Also, is the price on that card too high, or is the opinion that it will continue to rise? Thanks.

The best is easily the 2001 Bowman Chrome.

Personally, I think the price on the SPX is a little high... just too many of them out there. As I say that though, if Albert keeps it up... the sky is the limit on many of his rookie cards... the SPX included.

Time to stock up on 2001 Topps Stars #198, 2001 Fleer Tradition #451, and the awesome 2001 MLB Showdown Pennant Run #168 FOIL.image
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

The card in epatmythes avatar is a undervalued high ceiling card (Donruss Signature), I personally wouldn't buy a Bowman Chrome or SPx because of the issues with them. Many of the "RC year auto's (not nec. true rc's)" inserts are very affordable and great looking cards, I would recommend the 2001 Bowman Auto or one of the Fleer Auto's (there's many), Albert could go down as the best ever...

    2001 Ultimate Collection
    #d to 250
Many have chips on the border, I'd guess there are only about 125 that would grade mint or better
No parallels of the card to diminish its value, just 250 that's it
Not his most expensive, but his best IMO

Not his best, but his rarest true RC is the Leaf Certified Materials. Only 200 copies were produced and it has a game-used piece.
