I love coin because I love beautiful things and coins are little pieces of art....and there is a challenge in coin making which is you don't get to use colors, but nature can add them later, in some of the most gorgeous configurations.
I love coins because I love old things. Old things, especially old things of art, remind me that not much has changed over the years, with regard to the nature of man and what is important to him.
I love coins because coins are a mixed up with people - people who make them, people who sell and buy them, people who collect them and who write about them.
I love coins (and paintings, rare antiquarian prints, rare stamps and rare books) but I like it that coins are so easily transportable.
