Nah, not a member of the press. I am part owner of a music company (economy stinks, so not making anything right now. Just breaking even), so I just apply certain business aspects to get in contact with people. I'm just getting these interviews for CE. Need a lot more content for the site. Ilya/AI3 handles NBA Direct, memphis handles the autograph/in the mail section, and I do the admin work, hacking out the forum, etc. Just added a "Sports Card Bloopers" section which has errors by manufacturers and about to put up an interview section. So far, waiting on questions to come back from Fleer and just confirmed an interview with SGC.

Auto, I got your PM, for some reason my respond button isn't working...
I've found in my experience when freeelance writing that companies will really respond well to having a member of the press contact them for an intereview....plus it's my job to see through the BS and ask the tough questions that need answers. I'd very much like to work with you on this if you have any interest in the help...I think we could really expand CE, maybe do some product reviews, regular interviews with graders/companies, etc. Then we can hold weekly contests from some of our pulls from the product they send for review, so we don't look like we're just bagging free cards and we can attract more visitors.

does SGC have a "report card" made for every card they grade (like on the back of a BGS card, centering, edges, corners, surface)?
if not, ask them if theyd do that.

and, ask if they only grade on those 4 areas (edges, corners, etc.) or if there is anything else they check.

and one last thing, how long do they look at each card? 30 seconds? 1 minute? 2 minutes? longer? less?
how many people look at he card? i think there should be atleast 2 people to determine the grade.

It's too confusing and will cause problems when determining the final grade.

Depends on the card itself.
