questions about sending coins in and vams

Ok i am joining pcgs tomorrow and going to send in the 8 coins, i was just wondering does pcgs look for the vams or when i submit do i have to tell them, all my coins are in 2x2s with staples is that acceptable to send in? also one of the coins, a 1887 o morgan the coin is beautiful to me but the color is dark not shiny like the others will this effect the grade? wish i had a camera to show before i send in most of these were from my parents and just thought its time to get them in holders thks for any help : }

...if you're sending them in i advise you to read the instructions on the member's package that you should have.
it will say how to package them etc. or give them a call first. they'll be more than happy to help.
PCGS VAM Numbers
PCGS will grade and attribute the coin. If you are incorrect in your attribution they will put the correct attribution on the slab if it is a variety they attribute.
You'll also need to remove the coins from the two x two's and put them in mylar flips with a label on the flip with the corresponding line number from the order form.
The instructions seem daunting at times. If you have questions, just call their customer service.
