Is my submission being held up by The Big One?

At the Baltimore show, I submitted my last remaining core NGC coin for Express crossover service. That was March 8. Today is March 23. Express service is listed as 5 business days. Is The Big One holding up my submission? Will the coin be slabbed in a new Big One holder?

No, I don't think so. They're probably just lost in the mail. image

Seriously, I'll bet the big one is holding up a lot of things. I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't a lot of hectic activity at PCGS right now.

Since we know that they are at the very least changing the slab, I think it would be safe to say Yes, submissions are being held up. I submitted a group via economy back in December, and I'm STILL waiting on results. image

I had a "Regular" submission take well over a month, the grades were posted just a few days before my economy submission posted image

The big one for me got submitted last week. Seriously, the post office asked how much I wanted to insure it for and I said "$32,500." So she sold me the insurance and shipping which came to about $60.

Then she says " We can only insure it up to $25,000". So I asked her "Well why did you sell me insurance and charge me for insurance on $32,500, if you can only insure it for twenty five grand ? ".

She didn't have an answer except to say "The postal service will not lose your package" image
I'm still confused about this, but I hope The Big One is a national holiday celebrating HEALTH and less worry.
I paid insurance on $7,500 that went "poof".

Didn't you agree to have it hand delivered in TX?

How do we know they are changing the slab? Where is this information?

    Just wondering, GrandAm image
