OK, now that that's out of the way, I figured I'd share my latest newp! It's the first piece of paper I've put in my collection, but it belongs there.

Described by Lynn Knight as follows:
"The first paper money issue of Colombia. Pineapple; uniface. Printed by Peter Maverick, New York. Hand dated with hand signature and payee Don Carlos Desquiro; handwritten city name Santa Fe De Bogota top center. Small missing corner areas bottom left and right; slight margin roughness at left. The first fully issued example this cataloger has ever seen."

This is a nice note, with a cool denomination too that made a lot of sense then, but now is an anachronism. Also think it is fascinating to see such an early note that was printed for Colombian customers from North America.
