Picked up an MLB ticket stub that I've always wanted...

...it's a bit of a beater, but the other two on eBay were $999 and $4,500 (mine was $10)...

This was the game that Rick Monday saved the U.S. flag from a couple of dirtbags trying to burn it in the outfield. If you're not familar with this *GREAT* moment in baseball, you can watch it here.

Oh yeah, I also picked up the image on cardboard:

If that happened today , he would probably be accused of some type of free speech harrassment. He did mess up the loser's show.

Nice pick on the ticket.---- Sonny

Kind of a silly thing imo, the sad part to me is that William Thomas had his 11 year old son with him...

I have no problem with a protest, but not good thing when you try to burn a flag.

Yup. I troll eBay regularly for ticket stubs (concerts too). I'm going to get it slabbed with bunch of others as soon as PSA runs a ticket special. Any idea how many of these there are on the pop report?

I love the official scoring on that limage
