Your bid was placed prior to the underbidder. Your bid gets proxied to the highest next bid or your max if the proxy is less than the next increment. Had your bid been place after the underbidder, you would not have won as you could not execute the next bid level. Nothing wrong with the bidding and the card looks very nice... Does not appear trimmed or altered.
