I'm going to worry about this in 20 years... image

    I don't think the long-term trend is Dollar-positive...

I'll sell my gold when I need to sell it. And when I need to sell it, it won't matter what the spot price is.

It depends. Why did you buy it?

Gold is like an insurance policy. I'll sell it only if there is a dire emergency and I really need the money.

I agree. The only differences between gold and a bank savings account is that gold is real money and a bank savings account is your the bank's benefit, not yours.

    Excellent clarity of thought!
  • HOLD! I've got my sell price and believe it will be reached. Never thought PM's would explode in 2010, but after yesterday's VOTE, I believe it helps to ensure my prediction.

If you have to ask this question you shouldn't be buying IMO. Are things better or worse the last 10 years?

I bought the majority of my holdings at the $500-$550 mark. If it drops under 1k, I will probably sell a small portion.

Look for gold to trade sideways until mid-summer.
