What are the levels of the dreaded "D" catagory of coins

Highest level....Coins produced in tremendous quantities with huge numbers still
available. No increase in value potential, no rarity. Nice example
are collectible and are fun but do not pay a lot for these coins as
it may be difficult to get your money out if you sell. This would also
include Fair - AG condition coins of great popularity such as 1916-D
dimes, 1932 D & S Quarters ect, ect.

Mid Level Coins of some rarity such as classic type and generic gold. Fairly low
to medium circulated grade, cleaned, lacking any luster, poor to fair
overall appearance.Usually toning only a mother could love. Fine for
a space filler for the rarer dates but very little potential. When ready
to sell, will usually take some loss as these coins just do not grab the
eye. However, since beauty is in the eye of the collector, some might
find these coins acceptable and even attractive. Generally, these folks
are usually in need of glasses....very, very strong glasses.

Lowest level Common coinage in worn condition. coins that have been scrubbed and
tubed to death. Badly doctored coins, holed, scraped , gouged and so ugly
that 100 out of 100 collectors would cover the coin with a paper bag ,out of
compassion and common decency.
