Need value for Cuban note

ajaanajaan Posts: 17,585 ✭✭✭✭✭
My catalog is only from 1961-

I bought this today at the local show. I wonder if I paid too much. Anyone know a current value for this note?

It looks like it's one peso. Any other questions? image

Might wanna post the date of the note, the dates are the determinate factor in valuing the note.

My latest Pick (2000) shows $1/VG, 6/VF, 30/UNC, though I have no idea on current trends - I'd say that's on the lower end image

Printed by American Bank Note Company, it's Pick 77a, 1949 (black serial # would be 1960 printing)

Edit to add, there is a silver certificate $1 from 1949 that is worth slightly more (P-69h), but the design is different - no border around the portrait and head facing left.
