I thought this was a trading card board?

I'm tired of coming on here and seeing "Who is better Kobe or Iverson" or "I'm callen you out Autobilia". Are those nessessary on a trading card board? I hate having my posts drop because Guru wants to waste time posting "I'm calling you out Autobilia"! No offense to Guru but it gets rather annoying. Someone out there must agree with me! Its just another way to start another CU Fued.

I am too I sit back and watch all the crap that is put on this board.I did not know this was the want ads. hell people selling dreamcasts and PS2 and all kinda crap whats next beanie babies. Lets stick to the trading and cut all the other bullcrap out. You come on to see what s up for trading and you have to go down 20 posts to find the first trade offer. damn guys and gals what is up.

It's definately BballGURU as if he has a personal thing with Kobe or something. There were already multiple complaints about his 6-7 Kobe animated pics in his signature which he threw a fit because he had to remove them. And when someone criticize Kobe.... Oh LAWD! He act like he defending his girlfriend or something. He act like he worships the floor that Kobe walks on.

I don't care about people selling things.But this is starting to get carried away with the B*cthing about players in the NBA.Like they even care what anyone on this board thinks about them.And most people on this board don't care what you think about them either.If you want to talk about thing"s like that go to a chat room .So people who care about who has more point's can agree with you..

So what if Kobe had more points then V.Carter did .It's a game and a business let the owners worry about that.And who cares if someone can carry a team to championship or not.The owners pay the players as much money as they do for that and if doesn't work out oh well for the owner.

If anyone that is B*tching was any better they would be in the NBA and not on some trading card site talking trash all the time.....

Well,we also find the kinds of posts you are talking about very interfering with the true intent of this forum.These nimrods seem to forget CU has a "Sportscards & Memorabilia Forum"for posts such as these.Also if you see a post wanting to just "sell" something non-sports related you should do what we have done in the past.
Any of these posts that have nothing to do with buy/sell/trade sports;just click on the "envelope"icon on the top right hand side of the message & click on it.
A window will open & just enter the email address:
webmaster@collectors.com
Once you do this,look below & you will see a preprinted message in a small window.Erase the preprinted message in there & write your own.We usually say something to the effect that this post is in the wrong forum,or unrelated to the forum it's in & we also send posts that have vulgar language in them.
This method has been VERY successful in the past.You will notice that there isn't near as much foul language as there once was in the past.If all of us email these threads to the CU Admin,they will do something about it.They usually will either move it,edit it or in some cases delete it.We have even found out they warned repeat offenders & in s few cases even suspended them.They do monitor the forums but they can't do it all.It's up to us to keep our house in order & keep it"Buy/Sell/Trade Sports".
There is nothing wrong with a "Little" banter;we as sports lover enjoy that but too much of it becomes very annoying & we need to let the nimrods know they need to stop it.If they won't then let's let CU handle it in the proper manner.Hope this helps;it sure has in the past!!

Haha, shows how much you know about me. Everyone knows I could care less about the "buddy, buddy" system. And actually, that Edgar is a jersey which is part of my 2 sets. And how am I an Iverson jocker? I don't even have 1 Iverson scan on my site. Actually, I don't own any Iverson cards. I sold them all to mtgrinch. So who's the idiot now. Actually, I sold my Iversons to clear out 95% of my card count. I buy more DVD's than anything. And about the Edgar, I have 2 complete 01 Fleer Genuine Final Cut sets, so it has nothing to do with Edgar. I was building a set which is rare these days. And no, I'm not an Iverson bandwagoner. I followed his career as I did the rest of the Georgetown players (Sleepy Floyd, David Wingate, Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, Dikembe Mutombo, Allen Iverson, Jerome Williams,Othella Harrington, etc. I almost went to Georgetown to play basketball. So, you still know nothing about me. Iverson and T-mac better than Kobe. You better cut that ESPN highlights off and start looking at the stats. The media can make a 8 to 9 point per game player a superstar. Don't believe the hype. A good example of that hype. 00-01 Spx Darius Miles RC - $400 (pretty high for someone averaging 9.5 points a game). I know he is young, but he plays for the Clippers who are all young. Kobe is in media city, but look at the stats

Whah, whah, whah....here we go again with the whining. Does anyone REALLY want a message board where every post is "I want to trade?" I like that we keep it light and fun.
Buy the way, if you're posting cards for trade and they never get topped, thats YOUR problem....looks like nobody wants what you got. I see plenty of post about stuff for trade get a ton of responses and stay near the top all the time.
