Does anyone know the NEN guys well?

I mean, duh, they are great of course!!!

But I noticed an ebay oddity. NEN at one point started an ID for world coin selling, NENWORLD oddly enough. Tonight I ran across a zero seller with a set up that looks just like theirs including the Concord address, but it just seemed really strange that NEN would start selling coins, including gold, under another ID, when the NENWORLD is still active.

examples:
Normal nenworld listing

new Northeast coin seller with zero feedback and gold too

It totally looks like them, but with zero feedback, an already active ID selling world coins, and gold listed this just had me a touch worried. I sent them an ebay pm, but considering I referenced another seller's item I'm not sure the ebay email will go through.

I have no clue. I didn't even know that had an eBay name for World coins only. That is very useful info. Thanks Cathy.

  • Interesting.

I'm sure it's theirs or they would be all over it.

Maybe looking for more exposure? Or doing some testing; perhaps assigning different sales people to the two sites?

No,no- the kids and the cat are all right honey.

Could be...I just would be suprised they'd start out with gold on a zero feedback. Like I said, paranoia, and for me it's 10:30 pm which is WAY past my bedtime and I'm sleepy (I am old and weak)... so hopefully all is well in NEN-land/world. They rock.

Hey y'all. That is indeed our account. We are planning on selling our U.S. coins under our northeastnumismatics handle, our 99 cent world coin auctions under our nenworld handle, and we plan on listing higher end world coins under the new northeastcoin handle.

I have met them but don't know them very well. My debit card however is on a first name basis with them.

Good luck Chris. We needed this clarification about the accounts, especially the new one, that our perceptive member Cathy saw first. image

What a dork I am....I did send an email to them too, but I didn't wait for an answer before posting. Mostly because it was a weekend and I didn't expect anyone to read the email, yet there was a very nice response in the inbox this morning.

NEN "exceeds expectations" imageimageimage. Silly me.
