Best Vintage Football Pack To Rip??

Hey guys I want to buy some stuff from BBCE. I am wondering what vintage football pack is the best to break? Also would it be better to pick out waxes, cellos, or racks? Im new to this so any help is appreciated thanks.

    Hi Colts,

As you are new to this, may I ask what your definition of "vintage" is?

For some it's 80's, for others the 70's. For some of the paleolithic geezers here image it is more likely pre-war.

Give us an idea what years or decade YOU are thinking constitutes "vintage". That will help narrow it down quite a bit!

    Best of luck!

1966 Philadelphia Football is a great bang for the buck. Still plenty of value in the lower pop PSA 8 cards as well as plenty of stars and HOF RC's of Dick Butkus, Gale Sayers, Gene Hickerson, Bob Hayes and Bob Brown.
  • Sorry I wouldnt really say vintage just any wax. I would say anything pre 1990.

But you did say vintage, hence the reply.

Pre 1990 would suggest that you're looking for inexpensive wax.

I would probably steer towards 1984 Topps. Aside from Marino and Elway, you also have HOF RC's of Eric Dickerson, Jackie Slater, Darryl Greene, Russ Grimm, Dwight Stephenson, Andre Tippett, Ricky Jackson and Howie Long and Future HOFers Roger Craig and Morten Anderson.

    Pretty loaded for only $10-12/pack.

    1962 topps football
  • Pre-1990

    1989 Score
    1986 Topps
    1984 Topps

Anything 1970's is good, anything prior to that is expensive image
