George IV Shilling NEWP

Since my wife got a coin this week it seemed only fair that I get one also. I managed to cut a deal with the boys at Northeast for this 1826 in MS65.

  • Not nearly as nice as Jeff's but this is the kind of coin I'm always looking for.

    It's a 1911 Great Britain Halfpenny NGC MS66 "Brown" and I got a pretty good buy on Ebay;
    hoping the colors would be better than the seller's images.

    This may turn out to be a dumb move but I broke it out of the holder so I could get
    a half way decent image of it. It's still a bit out of focus because I had to tilt it slightly
    to catch the light.

    Dumb move, not so much on the grade since I'm sure it will get a MS 65 a least. But PCGS
    seems to be very chary about toning as colorful as this coin displays; so hoping it doesn't
    come back in a body bag......
