1955 Parkhurst hockey set complete!

After 2 and a half years, I finally got the last card I needed from the 1955 Parkhurst set. I have learned a lot about the PSA grading system through the process of grading and regrading these cards. Take a look at the set, which includes pictures of all the cards.

Frozen Caribou's 1955 Parkies set

This was a huge challenge, but with the help of some of the other registry guys and a lot of luck, I've completed it.

Thanks for looking.

Nathanael

Thanks, guys. I know there aren't many vintage baseball collectors who could appreciate the difficulty of completing this set in a 7.06 GPA, but there just aren't that many high grade 55's out there.

Congrats on the completion, and thanks for posting scans along with
your set! I've always liked the Tim Horton card from this issue, and you
have a beauty in your set.

Great accomplishment on the set Nathaniel. I've always loved this set, with the OTG's and great colors.

One of the best features of the registry site is the ability to show scans. I wish more people showed off their cards in the registry. After all, I don't collect grades, I collect cards.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Wow great set ! My favorite by far I tried this set about 10 years ago
and I can vouch for its toughness. Your Lumley is a great find in that condition.
The Forum and Gardens cards are probably the toughest cards to find
better then ex in the set. Good job.....my favorite will always be Bill Durnan.
Why you ask ? Looking at that card just screams old school Hockey and I loved
the fact that he played with 2 gloves instead of a blocker.

Thanks for the info. I knew I hadn't seen one sell in a while but I wouldn't have guessed over five years had passed.
