1926-S PCGS/CAC AU58 Buffalo Nickel--$4600 Shipped
An extraordinarily attractive example, this coin boasts wonderful lustre beneath colorful toning on both sides. The obverse colors include an ice blue face, plenty of orange and purple, and a rainbow ring around the periphery. The reverse is largely orange with some purple near the top, as well as a very thin band at the periphery where all of the other colors of the rainbow did their best to squeeze on. A key date for the series, rarely will you find one so attractive. This coin has the CAC green sticker. As much as you can appreciate the coin in the photos, you can appreciate it even more in hand.
1867 NGC Proof 66* (Star) Half Dime--$2360 Shipped
Another beauty, this coin has flashy mirrors beneath bright toning. The obverse contains rings of blue and purple with the outside and low points of Liberty highlighted in fire orange, while the reverse has a fire orange center with purple and blue towards the periphery. An exceptional coin that does not need a star to convey its appeal (though the star doesn't hurt).
