Has anyone bought from CNI (California Numismatics Investments)?

They show pretty good buy-sell spreads on most bullion, and their minimum quantities aren't prohibitively high - so my question is - has anyone dealt with them, and do you recommend them?

Thanks!

I highly recommend them highly for seamless transactions. There are commision free and ship free. ( not sure of the minimum) Ask for Jeff Nielson.

I'm currently in LA and will be strollling in this week as I heard gold was going up image

I offered them some MS Saints a few months back and they said that their grading standards were very conservative (ie most slabbed $20 Saints would not meet their strict standards). It didn't seem like it was worth the effort to ship them coins only to have most of them rejected to get their high buy price. They said they would get back to me shortly as I had other slabbed MS $10 Indians to offer them. To make a long story short I never heard back from them so it never went any further.

But on the "good" side you can probably expect the PQest of coins if you buy slabbed gold from them. At least that's what they advertise and that's what they expect to receive when they pay you their strong qouted price. If you don't receive higher end slabbed coins I would be interested in knowing that. On common bullion I don't see that there should be any issues.

PNG members and they've been around a long time. The first time MS65 saints got to the $2500+ level in early 2009, I believe it was because of the very strong buying CNI was doing. I just don't know who the end-users of those coins were.

I bought 65 Saints from them in 2006. ( they only sell PCGS). When I sold them at a show I never made it all the way down the first aisle. They were gone.

In my first post I was focusing on bullion. MJ
