Hi All,
I had posted a thread a few days ago but somehow I can't edit it, so I decided to start a new thread.
For sale are the following coins:
-Pattern 1 Cent, 1855, J-168 PCGS PR-64RB (Rarity-4, Pop 16/2)
-Part of my PCGS Seated Half Dime Set (1838, 1847, 1857, 1868-S and 1871)
I'm hoping to attend college/university in the United States (I live in Europe) next year and need to sell these, the core of my collection, to generate funds for that long-lived dream. As such, prices are discussable, but please realize that I do not want to lose too much money selling these items.
You can find the PCGS Half Dime set here with pictures. Prices are as follows:
1838 PCGS MS-63 - $475
1847 PCGS AU-58 - $165
1857 PCGS AU-58 - $165
1868-S PCGS MS-63 - $750
1871 PCGS MS-64 - $475
All coins in this set are fully original and would be perfect examples for an AU or MS type set.
I also have for sale the following pattern:
The pictures don't do this coin justice. Full Proof orange-red surfaces highlight the sharp strike from lightly clashed dies. In fact, I don't see any reason why this coin would not grade at the gem level. The PCGS population is 16, with only 2 higher, both MS-65RB. I have done extensive research on these grades and have only been able to identify 6 or 7 64RB's, making me to believe that a large number of these coins have been resubmitted in hopes of a higher grade. Additionally, this is also one of the very few RB examples which does not show wild coloration, but part of the rare original Mint red color which is very seldom found on this pattern issue.
$4000
Feel free to make a reasonable offer on any of the items listed above. I will bring these coins to the Fort Worth Spring ANA show next week, and when bought, will be shipped registered, within the US, for $5. I accept personal checks or paypal (please add 3% to cover my costs).
Thanks for looking and hopefully this sale will bring me a step closer to my dream of moving to the US.
