Bold tournament predictions from ESPN commentators

The #1 seeds are going to dominate all the way through the tournament, I think only Dick Vitale had someone other
than a #1 seed in the championship game.

They way they were talking it seems like there is no point in having the tournament at all, just have the #1 seeds
play each other right now and be done with it. LOL.

LOL is right. If anyone bothered to cross-check their predictions, I bet they change a fair amount from show to show. These guys have a a TON of airtime to cover starting this weekend, and they've never been bound by the rules regarding changing their picks.

I'm still baffled by the lack of respect Kentucky has been getting from some of the commentators (like the ones on the CBS Selection Sunday show whom neither predicted Kentucky going to the Final Four). We have just as good a record as Kansas after all. image

Those commentators are strange birds. They make a huge deal over Kansas getting such a tough bracket with Ohio St., Georgetown, Tennessee, and Oklahoma St. The last two teams being the only losses on Kansas' schedule.
But the fact is we would only have to possibly face one of those teams, as they are all on the bottom half of the bracket.

What a gig. You get paid for predicting the #1 seeds will get to the final four (maybe get radical and sprinkle in a #2). Impressive.

So, when Baylor (#3) and Tennessee (#6) join Kentucky and Syracuse in the Final Four (Kentucky defeats Syracuse 78-69), I'm guessing they'll say, "See, the #1 seeds made the finals."
