How to crack a PSA cello slab (Safely of course)

I'm about to take the plunge, but want to know the most foolproof way to crack a PSA cello slab.

Thanks and apologies since I'm SURE it's been discussed to death, I'm just too tired tonight to search it.

All I know is that it's very difficult..image

But that's a good thing late at night after a few beers...those GAI slabs are just far too easy to scissor open, LOL..

Good luck if you go for it!

doh - never mind - I didn't see the question was about a cello slab. No experience there.

Before all the silly comment flow in, the best scenario is to use a dremmel! Trim the corners to free the card.

He's talking about the holder for a pack, not a card.

I think the dremmel would be perfect and cut straight across the top.. if I recall correctly when I just busted a pack the other half of the slab slid out..

Use a band saw if you have one or know sombody that does.

Slightly better, or at least I hope so.

    70 Topps - Series 6.

BTW, no band saw available, so this may go into a mitre box tonight. That should be safe enough.
