This is my first time, please help

I read the directions in the membership packet about submitting, but I'm confused about doing this with the voucher. Here are my questions.....

1) On the submission form, on number 2 for Type Of Service, what do I do? Do I check "other?" If so, what do I write on the line next to it?

2) On number 3 for Grading Fee Calculation, do I fill that part out? If so, for # of cards, I put 6, but what do I put for grading fee?

3) On number 5 for Discount/Voucher, what do I put on that line?

4) I got modern cards, so I don't want most of them encapsulated in a holder if it gets less than a psa 9 grade. How do I request this? Do I put 9 in the minimum grade box on the submission form (even if it says crossovers only in red letters)? Or should I make a note of this somewhere else on the form?

5) How do I send the voucher with the submission form? Just clip it to the submission form? And place it all folded up and put it on the cards and bubble wrap all of it or bubble wrap the cards and then place the forms outside of the bubble wrap on top?

6) The direction says to mark the outside of the box with the type of service. What do I write on the box for this one?

7) I notice there are 20 spaces on the submission form, but what if I wanted to send 50 different cards for one service. I'd need 3 submission forms to fit all 50 cards on. So do I fill out one form fully with the 20 cards, and then only have to list the 20 on the second form, then 10 on the third form without filling up the other spaces like on the first form? And what do I put on the "package information" area for number 2? Do I put 1 of 3 on the first form, 2 of 3 on the second form, and 3 of 3 on the third form?

    You might want to call customer service and have them help you fill pout the form. That's a lot of questions.

    Hello - Welcome to the great world of grading. I have to say don't expect 10s on your first sub unless you have a 10x loope.


    Also when I first joined PSA gave me a packet with all the info I needed to submit the 6 freebies.

    question #1 If you view my scan Below (6) type submission for 6 freebies you check OTHER and write CC Submission
    question #2 you would put 6 X $ 0.00= $ 0.00
    question #3 I have no idea what you mean by number 5
    question #4 I wouldnt put anything unless you want to make sure they are 9s or better. I suggest this so you have a good idea on what and why the cards receive the grades they do. Learning process.
    question #5 put voucher in with sub form in box w/ cards see my link on step by step.
    question #6 You would write CC Submission on the box
    question #7 you can use another form just at the top make sure you write Page 1 of 3 next page page 2 of 3 next page 3 of 3. They are pretty smart and can figure that stuff out image

    Yes, I got all those forms in the packet, and read it all, but I'm using the voucher for 6 free grades, which makes me confused on what to put on the form.

    I check "Other" and write "Collectors Club Membership Voucher".

    6 Cards x $0.00 Grading Fee = $0.00

    Sorry can't help here. I use an older form in an Excel format. There is no number 5 on my form. I had no problems using the old format in December for my last sub.

    I'm guessing you would enter in the same column as crossovers. That being said, don't you still get charged a grading fee for this? Not sure what the advantage is unless you think the card would sell for more raw.

    I staple it to the form. I then fold up the form and slide it under one of the rubber bands holding the bricks of cards together. Then I wrap the entire bundle in bubble wrap, drop in a box, dump some peanuts in and seal it up.

    I write "Other" or "7-Day Service".

    As I mentioned above, I use an Excel form and just enter additional rows. PM me your email, and I can send it to you.

    Another tip in case you haven't heard it before. You do not have to use the stickers on your Card Savers with the line # and sub # on them.

    I agree with mexpo about talking to CS - they are great to work with. That being said:

    1) Check 'other', then write in 'CC Voucher'

    2) Put in '0'

    3) Ignore this, it's for other vouchers. You're guaranteed to learn about these vouchers later - GUARANTEED. image

    4) Yes, write '9 NQ' in the min grade,

    5) Yes, attach the voucher to he submission form.

    6) Write 'New member CC free submission' or somesuch

    7) Everyone pretty much recommends that you fill out a spreadsheet with all the columns for larger orders, and then write 'see attached spreadsheet' across this part of the form.

    Then call CS in a few days, apologize for any mistakes, and they will correct them for you. Just make sure you DO contact them after your order shows as logged in - they have been known to put an order in 'Receive hold' and leave it there if you make as mistake that requires info from you to fix.

    put on some old Jodeci, turn the lights down low, use protection, and kick her out in the morning. You should be fine. Also, the first 3 aren't necessary but the 4th is a must.

    I was under the impression #4 was ONLY for cross over service?



    Edited to add: Why ask for a min? If your cards are below that min grade you don't get anything.

    You have used up your vouchers and nothing is graded, granted 8's and below are worthless (maybe)

    but at least you can see what an 8 is.

    With that said I'm not sure one can ask for min grade unless it is a crossover.
