Questionable Spot on Bust Half and Grade Help?

mcarney1173mcarney1173 Posts: 927 ✭✭✭✭✭
I purchased this recently for an F12 price so I just had to get it. I need help with the grade and the spot on the obverse near liberty's head. It is a dull green color and appears to be inactive right now. What would you recommend I do with this coin?

Thanks for the help!

It looks like the surface has already been eaten away to the point that acetone would do no good.. My opinion is that you can find a better coin for your money.
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

IMO that spot has already been worked on. I would leave it alone lest you make it worse.

    Looks about VF25.

    Enjoy!
