Group sub update - RETURN SHIPPING - STILL GOT SOME CARDS

Had a rather hectic week and got behind on the group sub orders. All cards from the 1st order have been shipped and a few from the 2nd batch. The 3rd and 4th ones were attempted to be delivered yesterday but I was not home. Got them today.

If you are in the 5th order that popped, there is a hold on it and I have no idea why. I received the email right at PSA closing time and did not have time to call them. Will find out Monday morning.

If your cards have been delivered to me and you have already paid for return shipping, your cards will be shipped Monday morning.

One more thing, if you have sent me a PM in the last few days, I will respond once all cards are packaged and ready to go.

  • Bill.. Thanks for the update! You've put in a TREMENDOUS amount of work to help your fellow collectors with this group sub. Everyone should be patient in getting their cards back and be thankful for all Bill has done.. Now for the big question..... when are we going to do this again?

You would have thought someone would have let you known, afterall it is your submission as far as PSA is concerned.

so let me get this straight. Some jackleg called PSA and told them they wanted their freshly graded cards to be reviewed? Can you even do that? What is the point in the entire grading process if you can appeal the grades and have them reviewed before they are even shipped back?

Bill, if you haven't sent my cards back to me can you please send them back to PSA. I want them looked at.......again.

wouldn't blame psa if they stuck sub #6 right to the back of the line to show those cu jackoffs who is boss.

First off, I wasn't the "jackweed" that held up the order... that being said, I can understand why someone would want their cards reviewed before being sent back to save the double shipping charges again. What I can't understand is having no consideration for the other members whose cards are now being held hostage. My suggestion to the person who did this is to think of others before thinking about yourself next time! I do hope it is worth your while having them reviewed and hope you get some better grades. If you do, let us know right away, cause I want to call in and have them review mine before they come back too! I would prefer to be called "friggin jackmonkey"! Just to let you know, my kids can't eat now because I'm waiting for the cards to come back so I can sell them to buy some Ramen noodles! image

I had a feeling the recent graders of death would give me a PSA 7 on my 1990 Score Matt Stover and I thought if Joe would take a look at it, I could get the bump to PSA 7.5.

    Sue me.

That's my take too. With all the complaints about under-grading, NO ONE suggested calling for a review that I can recall. I suspect if they had, everyone would have gone along. Too bad no one got the chance to decide. Well, one person apparently did.

No, how they managed to call in on someones else's submission is an interesting question.

Me neither. I posted my disappointment in the group #5 thread, but I just can't muster enough outrage to care that much about 1983 Topps commons.

  • Wasn't me. Was on vacation from Florida to Sunny Philadelphia and NJ.

I think with all the complaining from the boards about the grades PSA probably thought it best to review the sub so joe would be informed.

With all the business that Bill was able to drum up in a couple of days it's in PSA's best interest to keep the grades as accurate as possible to keep their customers happy.

  • All orders have been received. Group 6 is sorted but still mixed up if that makes any sense. All people who have paid return shipping will have their cards shipped by Monday.

We had one mix up from Group 3. Cards was packaged in numerical order based on the flip number. At least one card was sent to the wrong person because cards were not kept in order by PSA based on the original sub form.
