1) 1860 25c PR64 PCGS CAC
An original looking and attractively colored specimen, with mirrors which are slightly obscured by the depth of the toning. I presume this is the grade limiting factor, though there are also some minor hairlines present in the fields. Purchased from Mark Feld and priced at $2,500
2) 1853 A&R 50c MS61 PCGS
A blatantly original coin with outstanding surfaces and a good (but not completely full) strike. If you're looking for a white coin, this one is not for you. Luster is obvious but a little subdued on the obverse, and somewhat more intense on the reverse. The toning is quite pleasing. The slightest touch of rub on the breast and thighs, I think technically the coin is something like an AU63, so where PCGS came up with MS61 is pretty clear. Regardless, this piece has an excellent original look of a much higher grade and is well worth my asking price of $1,800. Purchased from CRO.
3) 1900 50c PR64 cameo NGC CAC
Nice contrast and medium pink/blue pastel coloring give this piece superior eye appeal. Although I should say it has a certain look which perhaps everyone won't find appealing. I did, and I still do. Solid for the grade. Purchased from Mark Feld and priced at $1,800.
I accept checks or money orders (which must clear), and offer a 7 day return privilege as long as returned in the same holder as sent. References available.
