They are amateur snapshots, either printed on decorative "frame" photo paper or mounted on light card stock. The Ruth pictures should definitely have some collectible value.
The stands look an awful lot like Wrigley. Plus, although the Cubs have used "Chicago" across the front of their unis (including off and on during the '30s), I don't think the Sox ever did.

I concur with the Comiskey Park locale; the "windows" in the background are tell-tale. Also, the White Sox uniforms are those used at home in 1927-1928.

How do you know? It could be from Spring Training. I'm not saying your wrong, I never really studied photo's of Old Comiskey Park (1920's-1930's).
