Question Re "Mechanical Errors"

I'm familiar with the concept and have re-submitted a few mistakes in the past . . .

but when PSA reclassifies a card, such as a new variation, can they be resubmitted as mechanical errors even though they were correct at the time?

My specific example is the 1963 Topps Peel-offs -- PSA now differentiates among blank back and instruction back -- can an unspecified slab now be resubbed as a mechanical error? If not, what is the procedure to have the slab corrected?

I realize I can call CS but thought someone might have a quick answer to share with the group.

no i think that would have to go under a reholder.

but why dont you call PSA for the correct info.

PSA is not going to do this for free like they do with mechanical errors. To have fixed you need to pay the reholder fee.
