Crazy die cracks on this 22-d Peace dollar, need some help please..

This Peace dollar has cracks all over it, kinda cool but I can't find the VAM variety so I was hoping someone could help. Thanks for looking....Joe

    Interesting coins. Cracks are very common on Peace dollars, and usually more is needed to qualify as a listed variety. Normally, only when a crack expands and becomes a prominent break, do the VAMpires give it a number.

    die cracks are common on the peace dollars. one can get them all day long at the shows and on the bay

    Yes, there are literally millions of Morgan and Peace dollars with ordinary die cracks. It's probably the most common VAM question that people ask.

    I'm with the others on this...

    You may want to consider giving that coin an acetone bath anyway...

    Can you get a better shot of the area of the eagle's left wing (the backside of the bird) at the base of the 3rd ray from the head? Looks like an interesting die break there....

    I would , but the coin is not here anymore it belongs to a friend of mine and he split with the coin.....Thanks

    This is what I learned recently in response to my posting this Peace.
    crazyhounddog's has more cracks but not necessarily bigger cracks.

    They seem pretty common on the 22 d... I currently have 2 of them that are uncirculated, but are interesting to look at.
