Standing Liberty Quarter Registry Set Finished, Thanks to some forum members
I finished my PCGS Standing Liberty Quarter Registry Set with varieties today. The collection was completed many years ago. However, some of the common and some semi keys recently got the dreaded Genuine from PCGS. Those Genuine coins included two coins purchased raw from Jack Beymer years ago. Some of the coins were replaced with some recently submitted raw coins. Thanks to forum members Tim Puro, Silver Eagles92, Hyperion and Coinlieutenant who sold me some some of the more common dates on the BST or off their websites. I am a stickler for circulated coins with the look. I really like heavily toned AU quarters, gold toned XF45's and original gray XF40's. A couple of the coins in the set without the look will be dumped when something more to my liking comes along. 11 of the coins, including all the keys and most of the semi keys are in OGH. A good portion of the OGH coins would grade higher if resubmitted today. This is especially true of the 1916, 1918/17s, 1919 D and S, 1920 D and 1923 S. I know that a few of the coins are lower grades and probally did not warrant the expense of slabbing. I liked them and did it anyway.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
