PSA Shipping Refunds question??

I got this from the home page....

For the next 90 days, if you submit collectibles using an old submission form, we will automatically calculate any refund due you and reimburse you for the difference. We have ordered new forms and expect them to arrive within the next few days. Please be sure to discard your old forms.

I just received two subs back from them, however, I had no reimbursement.......am I supposed to call and ask for it?

My first idea would be to call customer service and ask them if you're owed any money. That would be my second and third ideas as well.
  • was there something wrong with the old submission form that caused people to overpay or is this just in celebration of tax season?

yes....the old submissions forms have the old shipping charges....PSA has since changed the way they shipped back items, resulting in a cheaper charge....

  • wow... It went down??? I never read those announcements cause I always figured the rate was going up. I'm not sure why they need to spend the money on paper and effort to issue a refund when they can just as easily adjust the amount when they receive it.

On second thought, I guess the refunds assure them that you'll come back with more business...

It's more a bookkeeping issue. When they receive your payment, especially if you pay by a mean other than CC, they have to record and deposit the money before they lose it.

When they are ready to ship, then they know what to refund and can do so.
