Dealers or Shops in NW South Carolina

I will be at my cabin for a week and was looking to find and get to know some of the shops in the area. I guess the easiest way to do this is to say I am in the Greenville, South Carolina area.

LMK of some good shops to drop some cash at.

there used to be a Coin Depot on Poinsett Hwy just out of Greenville.....not sure if it's still there or not, it's been a few years ago

if your willing to travel north about an hour (Asheville NC area) i can recommend 4 or 5 within a short distance

Steve Twitty of PQ Dollars is in Gilbert SC (not sure how far that is) and just opened up his own brick and mortar. Great dealer, especially if you collect Morgans, Peace Dollars or Walkers.

Thanks for the "plug" Frozenink.......I'm about 2 hours from Greenville so depending on what you are looking for it may/may not be worth the trip down as I'm still in the completion stage. image

I wasn't aware that you had started a brick and mortar shop Steve.
    Congratulations and good luck.

  • There are three good retail shops in the Greenville area

Plaza Coins - Poinsett Highway, Greenville - Judd Martin has the best shop in the upstate, lot of collector coins, publications, supplies, etc
Uncle Sam's - Downtown Easley - Sam Norris's shop probably has the most range and inventory
Carolina ... - Downtown Simpsonville - Bill Brooks keeps a lot of modern gold
