What am I looking at with a 1934 Steel Cent?

I received this coin in a lot of 5 Lincoln Cents that have been counterstamped with the free masons symbol. I also have in the batch a 1944 steel cent. Do you think I'm looking artificial coloring or a changed mint mark? I am a bit confused... Can post photos if necessary...

A 1934 steel cent is 100% fake and electroplated/messed with somehow. A 1944 steel cent is also fake although only 99.9%. Most likely someone just playing with their JR chemistry set.

very very slim chance of foreign planchett - the mint was doing business for other countries

If your 1944 steel cent weighs the same as a 1944 bronze cent, there goes the dream... but it certainly is possible that a '44 steelie could surface(no pun intended).

Thanks guys! I'll give it a check. I figured it was toyed with somehow. The freemasons counterstamp is what is really interesting to me!
