Silver dollar story.

I was at my local grain elevator talking to the manager about silver, I had brought in a roll of silver eagles because he had told me earlier that day he had never seen one, I finally convinced him he could have one as I had plenty more.
Anyway, the secretary said that recently an old lady had been coming in and buying $3 worth of gasoline and paying for it with 3 Morgan silver dollars. A young girl (20ish) that works there took the money because they said 'One dollar' on them, but she had never seen a silver dollar before. So one time when the old lady came back to buy more gas, the secretary, who is in her fifties and has seen silver dollars and knows they're worth more than a dollar, takes the old lady aside and tells her she should have a coin expert look at them and that she shouldn't be buying gas with them. The old lady says, oh thats okay, I have them out at the farmhouse and I want to spend them.
Crazy, because even if they're common dates and circulated, she could get around $13 or $14 apiece for them.

She said the young girl was buying them from the elevator after the old lady spent them because she thought they really looked cool.
