You can try and guess the grade if you want. Thanks for looking....Joe

Obverse looks great.

The obverse I'm less excited about. The 1926-P is one of the sneaky-hard coins in the series that are hard to find with super detail. I have an MS65 that is similar to yours, with hardly any definition in the hair knot at all. That's what I'd grade your piece--MS65, shot MS66.
I'm not so sure about the color. I'm probably wrong, but there's an intensity abut it that just doesn't look right.
<< <i>Soft obverse, nice reverse, awesome color. I agree, 66. >>
Very nice Buff.......I suck at grading but it looks 66 to me......
I'd go 65 with the grade.

The Buffs head still is a little flat. There are no distracting marks on it, and given the toning is good it should
be no worse than a 64. High end. Could even be a 65 if the grader had a good night. The reverse is definitly a charmer.
The Buff has the "rugosity" to it on the hide that often doesn't show on a lot of coins.

"Rugosity." That's the best adjective I've heard in years!

You must have one hell of a Buff set going on huh? Ive seen afew posts from you IIRC with some killer pieces.
Wanna let the herd out to play?
<< <i>I love the design, I love the coin overall, and I love the color.

I have had some good luck finding the ones I like, and it's a lot of fun. Buffalo nickel are a challenge to grade and sometime hard to find. I love the design and never ever get tired of them.
MS65+
Thanks to all for your comments and grade opinions...I've been looking for a 1926 for a great while with no luck till this little gem came along, sneaky hard coin for sure...Thanks to all....Joe
never mind.

Great coin, Hounddog. Ahroooooo!
<< <i>Not the first time I've undergraduate one of your pieces. I'll say this, though: It looks glossier and more brilliant from a distance in the holder than it does in your close-up.

Thanks for saying so, coming from you that's quite a complement. And you said , " this is a sneaky hard date" And that is so true, very tough to find a 1926 this nice. Thanks again...Joe
